Rachel is 10 Months Old

Rachel turned 10 months old the day we arrived in California (about a week and a half ago). This month she has proven to be a pretty silly girl. She loves to wrestle, tickle and giggles at the thought of feeding me her food.

She is standing up without holding on to anything, does funny little squats, has taken a few steps and will even pick up large objects while keeping her balance.

She has started to dance whenever she hears music she likes. My favorite moment was when we were in San Diego at a Mexican restaurant....they had a man going around singing and playing his guitar. When he was playing for our table she was bobbing up and down totally enjoying herself.

Just recently she has started refusing her baby food. I am quickly trying to find finger foods that she can eat so I can make sure she keeps a healthy diet.

She continues to mimic words and sounds very well. When she wants something she'll point at it and say "dhis".

We've been all over the place with her pacifier this month. I took it away for a couple weeks but ended up giving it back to her just for sleeping. I'm happy with my decision and she seems to be less dependant on it but still very satisfied by it.
