When the sun came out a few weeks ago the kids were itching to get outside and play. Nick asked to use his new tools outside and wanted to build a sand castle. Since their sandbox was filled with wet wintery sand I decided his plan just might work.
Nick built a strong foundation, Rachel filled up the castle molds and I helped pack them and turn them over.
I don't think Nick had any doubt that a sand castle could be built in February. He was sure proud of his creation.
