We are still enjoying the sun here. We went to a party in the park this morning that included performing pigs, equestrian vaulting, dog agility, pony rides and a pancake breakfast. The events were all coordinated as a fundraiser to keep the park open. Fun times, good cause.
After a delicious pancake and bacon breakfast we settled in to watch a pig show.
Poppy was dressed up in his volunteer vest and Rachel was happy to sit with him while the stage was set up.
The pig show was a riot. The whole concept made me laugh...then add some pigs playing various sports, honking horns, spelling a words...it was just too much.
There were a lot of horses. Rachel kept yelling and pointing at them "dhis! doggie!".
After we watched all the horses Nick was inspired to do a little riding of his own.
This was his first pony ride. He really liked it but he didn't have much to say about it when he was done. I'm hoping to hear about more in the days to come.
