Nick's favorite gardening tool is a little rake. Every time we go outside he finds it and carries it around the yard. He likes to move dirt, pick up leaves and brush plants with it. He is also very good at putting it away after we are done.
This winter he has enjoyed playing in the gardening beds much more than the grass. The grass is soggy and slippery and the beds have lots of interesting things to explore. During his explorations I try to teach him garden etiquette in hopes of saving some of my flowers this spring and summer. Maybe he'll be a good helper with weeds someday too. :)
Nick also recently discovered this great box full of dirt. Where did that tomato go?
