We had an awesome time trick or treating this year with Parker and his family.
Nick picked out his costume over a month ago. I showed him several options for costumes and he choose to be a bumble bee so he could "sting people". His costume was a big hit on halloween. He's also been known to wear the costume around the house at least once a week. :)
Rachel was super happy to dress up as the dragon this year (Nick's costume last year). She has been wearing this costume since she was about 11 months old and roars whenever she's got it on.
Here are the boys right before we went out. They were so so excited!
It took the kids a few house to figure out the drill. Nick liked the ring the door bell several times (sorry Parker's neighbors) and invited himself in the first few houses when the door was opened.
Rachel kept up with the boys. She walked most of the way, walked up and down several stairs and said "trick or treat" and "thank you" at every house.
This was the scariest house in the neighborhood. The boys had to give it a good inspection before going to the front door because it was "spooky".
At the end of the night the kids had collected lots of candy and were very tired. The next day the candy fairy came and made a deal with the kids....Nick got a new car and Rachel got a Grandma doll. :)
