Pumpkin Hunting 2010

Last weekend we put on our boots and headed to the Jubilee Farm with Poppy, Aunt Lisa, Uncle Adam, Lucy and Milo.

The whole trip was such a fun experience, especially for Nick, because it started off with a tractor pulled wagon ride to the pumpkins!

We tromped through the pumpkin field searching for the perfect pumpkin pair.

Nick loved picking his feet up high and smashing down the leaves. He enjoyed creating his own trails and avoided the easy paths. Rachel on the other hand refused to walk through the field but enjoyed being carried from pumpkin to pumpkin.

We found Nick's pumpkin first. He was hoping to find one that was bigger than he was but was happy to settle for this one.

It took a little longer to find Rachel's pumpkin but she agreed that this pumpkin was the one.

While Rachel was pumpkin shopping Nick found a giant green pumpkin to stand on.

We also found another treasure in the pumpkin field...a fuzzy (not so fuzzy anymore) caterpillar.

Pumpkin Limo

The kids were super excited to wash off the pumpkins with hose.

This picture makes me laugh. I love these little kiddos...even if they won't stand still, look at the camera and smile. :)

To end the perfect morning the kids ran through the maze. I know the pumpkin farm and tractor were Nick's favorites but this maze was his favorite too. :) We need to budget more time for this activity next time. Nick ran like a crazy man through this maze and could have stayed in it all day.
