The Lawn has become a Field

My friend Brandon mentioned to me that leaving the grass long would help the roots of the grass grow stronger and the grass would handle the summer better. Well, Ashley is about done letting me test that theory. Looks like I'll be spending my first Father's Day mowing the back yard :) Before I do that, Nick and I were curious to see how long it had gotten so we went exploring.



Nick had a lot of fun crawling around with the grass tickling and poking his face as he crawled.

I almost lost him a couple times but then he would pop his head up with his tongue out.

Just taking it all in before the field gets mowed...
