We have been working on putting up and decorating the Christmas tree for the last couple of days. To everyones surprise, including myself, we bought an artificial Christmas tree last year. There were several reasons for the purchase:
1.) Its bigger than the real trees we used to get
2.) It goes up quick with out the mess to my car and my house
3.) I can put it up at least a week earlier (but not before Thanksgiving) because it only takes a few minutes to pull down from the attic
4.) It has lots of lights and we don't have to put them on!
5.) For me the tree just facilitates the ornaments. If an ornament doesn't hang quite right or there is too much or not enough room I just move a branch!
6.) Finally, Costco had good high quality artificial trees last year.
Here is Nick discovering the lights and ornaments. He got so excited once that he tried to jump into the tree!
