For our 3 year anniversary we drove down the coast to Cannon Beach Oregon. We spent a lot of time walking up and down the beach and Peter even got in some good bird watching.
Our hotel was just one block from the beach and a few blocks from Haystack rock.
We took one day to drive down to Tillamook to visit my favorite cheese factory. Peter and I watched the cheese being sliced from 42 pound blocks to baby loafs and then packaged for delivery. There was one damaged block of cheese that we watched for several minutes as it traveled down the conveyor belts...it was sliced, stacked and then finally rejected at the weighing station. We went through the cheese tasting line twice and enjoyed Tillamook ice cream! Yummy!
