We made our annual trip up to Bellingham last weekend to visit Santa. Nick made the key observation that "the place Santa lives and the place Jesus was born sound almost the same". :) He also LOVES that he has the same name as Santa.
Nick was overjoyed to see Santa. Rachel tolerated him this year.
When it came to down to talking about presents Nick was ready to tell Santa everything he has ever hoped and dream of. Santa actually asked him to narrow it down to one thing. :) He decided the best thing would be a Hot Wheel garage.
When it was Rachel's turn she was clearly done with Santa and refused to even look at him. Later she told me she was "too shy" and I reassured her it was okay that we'd just send Santa an email and she was happy with that. :)
